10.10.10 turned out to be a gorgeous and memorable day in one of my favorite cities, the City of Brotherly Love, Philadelphia. Sarah and Steve were getting married that day and nothing could ruin their moods, even some unexpected plans like a Presidential Rally happening a block away from the church at the EXACT time as the ceremony. Ok, so plans might have changed just a tad, and all family members were called to be warned about Secret Service checkpoints that they would have to go through to get to the ceremony, but everybody got there safely, and Sarah and Steve’s families were able to celebrate (with a few hundred people walking by the church at any given time to get to the rally).
A special shout out to my oh-so-amazing assistant for the day, Kristen! She was so on top of things and got some great pictures!
Sarah’s grandmother was absolutely hilarious! Here’s Heather, a high school friend (Hi, Heather!) doing her makeup for her….lookin’ good! 😉
Steve looked like he was trying to contain his excitement when he saw Sarah first walk down the aisle…
Ok, seriously?! So cute!
I would just like to mention that these two are SO in love. Even when I didn’t have the camera up, they were looking at each other like this and whispering, “I love you,” to one another. So cute
After grabbing a few quick pictures, we all headed over to a Casablanca Restaurant by the St. Joe’s Campus! It was such a neat location- everybody had a place to lounge, and the found was so so good. But before we got to that delicious food, Sarah and Steve had their first dance as a married couple.
…oh, and did I mention that there were belly dancers?!
After the toasts and eating a seven course meal (there were SO MANY courses of food…ahhh so good!), everybody went downstairs to get their dancin’ on…they had an awesome band waiting for them. The night had just begun.
Sarah and Steve, Congratulations! I had such a great time getting to know you both over the last few months! I hope you’re having an amazing time on your honeymoon! 😉
